It’s a dangerous game of life and death when the last wild plains bison herd in Canada ventures outside of Saskatchewan’s Prince Albert National Park and moves onto private land. There, the bison are unprotected, vulnerable to treaty hunters and irate farmers and ranchers. Johnny Prosak has made it his mission to save the dwindling herd by daily driving them back within the safety of the National Park. It’s a round-up like no other. The buffalo are just one gunshot away from extinction and Prosak is their human shield.
